Linda has a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She is also a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner and a qualified yoga teacher. Linda spent many years of her early working life as a journalist and PR consultant within motorsport. However, she always had an intense interest in people and what makes them ‘tick’, and this led her to attending an inspiring seminar almost 20 years ago, which taught her how to harness the power and potential of the mind. As well as working in private practice counselling clients, Linda also coaches elite athletes and sports people. She finds having a psychotherapy degree is instrumental in helping her clients eliminate the negative emotions which can prevent a person reaching their full potential, while she uses NLP and hypnotherapy to reprogram the unconscious mind where all change takes place. Linda’s caring and holistic approach is rooted in Person-Centred Humanistic psychology. Her coaching style also includes Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and mindfulness. She also uses relaxation training in her work with clients. Linda works with each person differently depending on their needs and has helped many individuals, including young people, suffering from anxiety, depression, panic attacks, phobias, trauma and bereavement.
