Information about site upgrade
We’re pleased to introduce you to the latest version of our site! After our incredibly successful launch in 2017, we’ve been focusing all of our energy on reaching as many people in need of our service as possible. This means that our poor old website had to work harder than ever to deliver the best therapy in the right place when you need it the most. But after some well-deserved TLC, it’s back in the game and better than ever.
So what’s new?
Glad you asked! Well, aside for a general face lift (which we hope you like), we’ve introduced our newest resource format, Mindbox Learning. Here you’ll find a growing library of e-learning material dedicated to helping to educate those suffering about their illness. We’ve also activated the Mindbox Community, a platform which allows site users to connect with each other (if they want to of course) and share stories of success and perhaps make a difference for others who are taking steps on a path you’ve already travelled. And finally, you’ll notice that the whole thing is just easier to get around. Perhaps the most exciting part about the upgrade is that we’ve set the stage for new content which will be coming in the new year.
What about my personal information, is it safe?
Absolutely. Our upgrade and request for you to update your password are in no way connected to any breach in security. We have and continue to take all necessary measures to keep your information safe.
Mindbox services are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant and accredited as uses a level 1 service provider and merchant. This standard helps create a secure environment by increasing cardholder data, thus reducing credit card fraud. Our merchant regularly performs internal security audits to maintain our ISO/PCI security certifications.
Our signup and login services are completed through a secure server (HTTPS/SSL). We use cryptography hash functions to protect your information. Your password is stored as a hash digest and, in the event of a security breach, your original password cannot be recovered from our servers.
Our platform is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce, regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States, and therefore adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.
